They caught fish, pulled lobster traps, saw seals in the water, plenty of history and beautiful sights! I would highly recommend spending some time out on Beautiful Casco Bay.   Wife and I booked a cruise through Casco Bay Adventures. Captain John took us around the bay for a couple hours and showed us all the interesting points from... read more nature to historical references of WW II. We also were dropped off to enjoy a dinner at Peaks Island while the Captain waited for us to finish dinner while the sun was beginning to set. We ventured out to also pull up a trap from lobster fishing and learned about the trade and conservation. When we were almost done, we stopped at the light tower for a great picture moment before travelling back to port. Captain John was a wonderful and informative host. If you desire this activity, Casco Bay Adventures should be your only stop. Enjoy! This trip would also be great for kids to see the seals and other marine life as well as lobsters.

Captain John picked us up on Peaks Island where we were staying for the week, which made the... read more trip super convenient! The 2 hour “Family Adventure” was the perfect mix of touring the islands of the bay, learning more about them and their history as well as actively fishing in the bay. My kids loved being able to catch fish and had a fun time releasing them at the end as well. We also had the opportunity to help haul in lobster traps during the tour and learned much about lobstering! Our outing with Casco Bay Adventures was definitely a highlight of our trip!
